Meet Our Team

 

Richard Roy                                                                   

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Richard has an extensive history of professional and sales experience that has culminated into real estate success. Richard graduated from WMU in 1980 with a Bachelors in Accounting. He then went on to obtain CPA licenses in both Michigan and Florida. After working 5 years for various accounting firms, Richard found that he desired more contact with people. He started working in sales for a large publishing company. In his first year, in this challenging market, he was named the #1 rookie salesperson in North America. With the advent of the internet, Richard left this company for new opportunities. For the next 10 years Richard worked various jobs, such as general and tax accounting, in search of a new direction. In 2002, Richard teamed up with Greg Miller to form the Roy-Miller Team. He has put his extensive experience in the sales and business worlds to work in real estate as a Licensed Realtor in the State of Michigan and member of the Greater Kalamazoo Association of Realtors.

 

FAMILY:  Married for 10 years to his wife, Lori, who works as an Registered Nurse at Borgess Hospital. Father to step-son, Bill Menser, and son Alex (6 years old).


HOBBIES: Richard is an outdoorsman. He loves taking walks with his son, Alex, and his dogs. You may see him walking at Western's preserve or sledding down the hill during the winter. Richard also enjoys basketball.


PERSONAL STATEMENT: In every real estate market, there is someone that is willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. In the greater Kalamazoo area, that person is Richard Roy. PLACES LIVED:  Richard grew up in Birmingham, Michigan before moving to Kalamazoo to attend university at WMU. He spent some time in Pensacola, Florida before returning to Michigan in 1984.

 

AWARDS:  His most recent achievement includes Prudential's Presidents Circle.

 

CIVIC ACTIVITIES:  Richard and his family are active members at New Day Community Church. Richard volunteers his time to help maintain the church facilities.

 

 

 

Greg Miller                                                                   

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Greg's career began as a Registered Nurse for Bronson's trauma and emergency center. While working, he completed his degree with WMU and then pursued his lifelong desire of working in real estate. His emergency room skills have given him an advantage. The experience of dealing with stressful situations and completing tasks with acute accuracy has proven to be a great benefit to his career as a Licensed Realtor for the State of Michigan. Greg also owns and manages investment property and rehabs distressed property.

FAMILY: Married for 14 years to wife, Carrie, who works full time for the Roy-Miller Team. Father to daughters Audrey (7 yrs)and Ella (4 yrs), and sons Joseph (6 yrs) and Benjamin (1).

HOBBIES: Greg is a passionate golfer. He also enjoys home restoration.

PERSONAL STATEMENT: For anyone who knows Greg, they know he does nothing casually. His career in real estate is no exception. Passion, skill and determination describe the pursuit of his craft. Greg takes a counseling approach to real estate. The amount of information available to consumers is immense. Consumers are looking for a professional who can help discern facts. Greg is proud to stay on the cutting edge of the real estate market and the technology that is changing it.

PLACES LIVED:  Greg grew up and attended school in Gobles, Michigan.  He studied and worked in Kalamazoo for many years before recently moving back to the country.
